History

Milemaker Petroleum was founded in 1976 by Nick Andrianakos whose drive could be tracked to his village in Tripoli, Greece.

Following his military service, Nick Andrianakos packed his bags and migrated to Australia in 1966 in search of the ‘lucky country’ and to chase his dreams.

As was the case with many migrants at the time, he had multiple jobs in quick succession but none quite fit the bill. He packed his bags after a few years in Australia and returned to Greece. He later returned in the late 70s and that is where he began to build his legacy.

He built his empire one petrol station after another and after 10 years had acquired multiple service stations across Victoria. Eventually what became Milemaker Petroleum, was sold to Caltex Australia with the underlying freehold assets remaining in ownership by Milemaker Petroleum.

The Andrianakos family office now owns major commercial office buildings and shopping centre assets across Melbourne, Brisbane & Adelaide. The day to day running of the operations of Nikos Group are now handled and overseen by CEO, Theo Andrianakos.
